Your role
Responsibility for the business side
The technical founder remains responsible for product, architecture, engineering and technical strategy. You will lead:
- fundraising strategy and investor outreach
- relationships with venture capital firms, business angels and strategic investors
- investor meetings, pitches and negotiations
- company formation and corporate structure
- coordination with lawyers, tax advisers and regulatory specialists
- commercial strategy and market entry
- strategic partnerships and external representation of the company
- financial planning, use of funds and preparation for due diligence
- early hiring and company building
Your profile
Experience, ownership and technical understanding
Ideally, you have at least eight years of relevant experience in FinTech, capital markets, brokerage, electronic trading, financial infrastructure, institutional technology, enterprise SaaS, investment banking or venture capital
Experience in several of the following areas is relevant:
- raised venture capital or participated directly in fundraising
- built or scaled a company from an early stage
- worked with investors and senior executives
- negotiated complex commercial relationships
- operated in FinTech or capital markets
- built strategic partnerships
- managed lawyers, advisers or regulatory processes
- recruited senior or teams in young companies
Previous founder experience is valuable. You should be able to take ownership, build a strong investor network and act decisively when information is incomplete

Clear and complementary responsibilities
The technical founder brings the product, proprietary technology, architecture, development and technical strategy
The incoming CEO takes responsibility for commercial matters, financing, corporate structure and external representation
There is no guaranteed salary before external financing or sufficient revenue. Founder salaries will be set after financing based on available capital and financial planning
